Here are two shots of pelicans standing on a rock in Drake Bay, Costa Rica. The tide had come in, and as it slowly receded I was able to walk farther and farther out to get a closer view. The water was so warm it was actually rather pleasant just standing there, half submerged watching the pair preen themselves.
